Organic Sencha Kashira
Competition grade Organic Sencha made from the Yabukita cultivar. The tea is produced by Mr. Ijichi in Kagoshima. The leaves are rolled into a beautiful needle-like shape and has a deep glossy green color. The Yabukita cultivar pronounces a fresh vegetal aroma and a sweetness balanced with astringency
In the cup: Sweetness with berry-like notes and a fresh vegetal aroma. Perfectly balanced astringency.

Sencha is best brewed in a small, preheated teapot and with full attention.
You can brew several times on the same leaves, adjusting the water temperature and brewing time.
Below a suggestion for brewing this tea, but please experiment and find your own favorite cup.
Use 6-8g for 200 ml water.
1. brew: water 70°C / 60 sec.
2. brew: water 85°C / pour immediately
3. brew: water 100°C / pour immediately -
